Dog Trainer/Behaviourist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hello! We are a fast-growing company that is on a journey to become the one company that does everything dog-related. We train approximately 150 dogs per month.

EXPERIENCED dog trainer required.

The applicants should have proven experience as a dog trainer and or behaviourist, hold a full driving license and able to commute to Virginia Water/Windsor.

Position involves travelling to the clients home to conduct 1-2-1 dog training sessions, consultation, writing clients training assessment/support guides . You will also be doing a lot of work with the dogs that are in our board & train programs and conduct handover sessions.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

  • Proven experience as a full-time dog trainer and/or dog behaviourist
  • Proven experience working with off leash obedience and/or dogs that have behavioural problems, ie aggression & anxiety or advanced off-leash obedience training
  • Good communication skills with clients
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Natural confident, passionate manner is essential as you will be working with dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes.
  • Committed & hard-working individual who shows up on time and is not afraid of putting in the work/hours
  • Willingness to learn
